This site was developed to communicate sports and social information to Civil Servants who are members of a voluntary organisation called the Civil Service Sports Council (CSSC).

Information on the site is updated frequently with details of new offers, sporting events, discount deals and general communications from the elected organisers. I have been volunteering my time to maintain this site for the last three years.

The site is created on a table based layout that uses CSS overflow to contain pages within a single window view. Complimentary imagery is used throughout and a strong brand identity is maintained by a consistently positioned logo and photos of Newcastle city centre.

The colour scheme of the site is influenced by the corporate brand of the organisation and this is offset by a repeated gradient background image that adds depth to the pages.

A change in the policies of the organisation will mean that this site will soon be redesigned and I will be sure to post up new information about the work I do on this as soon as I can.
